Shopping Card

At Regroup, we understand that life as a single mother can sometimes bring unexpected financial challenges. To support mothers in need, we offer a reusable Grocery Card, which you can use to shop for groceries at Dirk Supermarkets. This card is intended as emergency aid and has an initial value of €15. In certain situations, we can remotely reload the card so that you can continue to use it.

The Grocery Card is a gift card from Dirk Supermarkets , with which you can do essential shopping. What makes this card unique:

Reusable: The card can be topped up again, even remotely. Therefore, do not throw the card away.
Wide range of uses: The card can be spent on all products available at Dirk, except tobacco and alcohol.
Immediately usable: After receipt, you can use the card immediately at any Dirk branch.

Practical Information

Card value: €15 upon issue, reusable for later top-ups.
To be spent on: All groceries except tobacco and alcohol.
Validity: The card remains active for 5 years, provided it is retained for any top-ups.
Where to use: At all Dirk Supermarkets.

How does it work?

Application: Please complete the application form on the right.
Home visit: A Regroup employee will visit you to discuss your situation and map out additional assistance.
Receive the card: After the home visit you will receive the shopping card, which you can use to do your shopping immediately.
If you are eligible for a second top-up, this will be done remotely, so don't throw the card away.

Conditions:

For single mothers only: This emergency aid is intended for mothers who are the sole caregivers of their families.
One card per address: A maximum of one card can be requested per household.
Not for food bank customers: If you already use the food bank, you are not eligible for this assistance.
Home visit required: After your request, we will plan a home visit to better understand your situation and discuss how we can further support you.
The card can be topped up a maximum of once every six months.
